Asharqia Chamber presents its best greetings to you, and would like to inform you of receiving the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers (L / L / 1324) dated 1/6/1440, which referred to the letter of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority No. (41705 / p) dated (23/5/1440) that includes the control of the incoming missions to the border crossings, which are responsible to be cleared by the Authority.
The third strategic plan of the Authority included the draft of the organization of responsibility for the tasks entrusted to the Authority in ports in coordination with customs " which adopts the idea of stopping the reception of commercial food consignments from the outlets that do not exist in the Saudi Food and Drug Authority" and commercial food consignments are currently restricted from the following outlets as of 25/7 / 1440 (1/4/2019):
