The Chamber and the Subscriber: Rights and Duties

Subscriber’s Rights

The subscriber’s rights with the Chamber, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, include the following:

  1. Benefiting from the advantages of membership by subscribing to the Chamber and attending General Assembly meetings
  2. Electing the members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors
  3. Running for membership of the Chamber’s Board of Directors
  4. Obtaining a permit to conduct a discount period for his/her establishments
  5. The right to submit proposals related to trade and industry, discuss them, and resolve them
  6. Benefiting from the Chamber’s publications, events, and services with ease, convenience, high quality, and modern technology
  7. The permissibility of holding membership in the Chamber and another chamber
  8. Receiving responses to specialized consultations
  9. Maintaining the confidentiality of information related to subscribers
  10. Providing legal, advisory, rehabilitation, social, and economic services for subscribers’ activities
  11. Enjoying all rights and privileges according to the registered category, including facilitating access to the required information

related to commercial, industrial, economic, and developmental activities in the Eastern Province with full transparency.

Chamber’s Rights

As for the Chamber’s rights over the subscriber, they are as follows:

  1. Committing to updating contact data and addresses and notifying the Chamber thereof
  2. Committing to periodically providing all data related to the activity or establishment and any amendments thereto
  3. Committing to renewing the subscription periodically at the beginning of each Gregorian year
  4. Committing to using the information and documents obtained from the Chamber in a lawful manner consistent with the applicable regulations
  5. The member shall not attend the Chamber’s deliberations and meetings as long as he/she has private interests being discussed
  6. Refraining from carrying out private work for the benefit and account of the Chamber except in cases permitted under the laws and regulations in force.
