Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings and informs you that it has received the letter from the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45556914/20), dated (27/04/1448 AH), referring to the letter from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture No. (482121289), dated (19/4/1448 AH), corresponding to (30/9/2026 AD). The letter states that the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (World Food Programme) is preparing a list of approved suppliers from Saudi companies to include Saudi food products in the World Food Programme’s list of options. The Programme will hold workshops in this regard.
The form received from the Programme regarding the registration of eligible Saudi companies to provide services (the supply of Saudi food products) to the Programme aims to identify suppliers with suitable technical and financial capabilities, in preparation for inviting them to participate in a future tender.
Accordingly, the Federation hopes that relevant private-sector companies will register and participate in a way that enhances the presence of Saudi products and services in World Food Programme procurement.
