Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45553100/20), dated (26/2/1448 AH), referring to the Ministry of Commerce telegram No. (2974), dated (7/2/1448 AH), corresponding to (21/7/2026), regarding the preparation and readiness for the Kingdom’s mutual evaluation process by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) during (2026 – 2027), and within the national efforts aimed at strengthening the application of the risk-based approach and raising the relevant parties’ understanding of the risks of money laundering and terrorism financing. The Standing Committee for the Implementation of Security Council Resolutions under Chapter VII has prepared the 2025 assessment of proliferation financing risks, which concluded that the level of proliferation financing risk in the Kingdom falls within the (medium to low) level.
