Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45552931/20), dated (6/02/1448 AH), referring to the Ministry of Commerce letter No. (7265), dated (5/2/1448 AH), corresponding to (19/7/2026), regarding the Ministry’s intention to launch a discount season from August 1 to October 31, 2026, as an exceptional discount period that does not affect the annual balance of discount days for commercial establishments, enabling establishments and online stores to offer discounts on products and services to consumers in accordance with the regulations and controls approved by the supervisory authorities for the establishments’ activity. The Ministry allows commercial establishments and online stores to apply for discount licenses electronically through the Ministry’s website (sales.mc.gov.sa), enabling establishments to issue licenses easily, print them, and display them to consumers.
The Federation urges participation and engagement with this season in a way that achieves the desired goals and benefits the business sector and consumers, while complying with the regulations and controls governing discounts, as set out in the Ministry’s letter mentioned above.
