Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45551610/20), dated (13/1/1448 AH), referring to the telegram received from His Excellency the Minister of Commerce No. (712), dated (9/1/1448 AH), corresponding to 24/6/2026), regarding the Companies Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/132), dated (1/12/1443 AH), which provides in paragraph (2) of Article (17) that “the company’s financial statements must be prepared at the end of each financial year in accordance with the accounting standards approved in the Kingdom, and these statements must be filed as determined by the regulations within (six) months of the end of the financial year, in accordance with the provisions of the Law.” In an effort to enhance companies’ compliance with the provisions of the Companies Law, and with the statutory deadline for filing the financial statements for the 2025 financial year approaching.
Accordingly, the Federation hopes that all companies will file their financial statements for 2025 on the (Qawaem) platform, to avoid the penalties prescribed by law, in accordance with the letter mentioned above.
