Dear Esteemed Chamber Subscribers,

May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.

Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45550948/20), dated (28/12/1447 AH), referring to the email received from the Saudi Ports Authority dated (10/6/2026) regarding the official launch of the “Truck Marshalling Area,” which requires all trucks heading to Jeddah Islamic Port to pass through the marshalling area, and which came into effect on (May 20, 2026) in conjunction with the application of the parking entry fees, whereby the customer must pay the truck marshalling area fee of (17) riyals to complete the entry procedures, with the aim of facilitating the movement of exports, imports, and transit containers, reducing waiting times, and enhancing the smooth flow of truck traffic.

The Federation informs you that the National Logistics Committee is organizing a workshop with the Saudi Ports Authority to introduce the marshalling area and review its working mechanism, its operating system, and the services provided in it, in addition to clarifying the roles of the relevant authorities and the coordination mechanisms among them, contributing to enhancing the readiness of the beneficiaries. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at (01:00 p.m.) via video conference.

Those wishing to take part and register may contact the sector supervisor, Mr. Faisal Al-Saleh, in this regard on mobile number (0547906440) and by email (Falsaleh@fsc.org.sa). Workshop link (http://go.ac.sa/bg5).
