Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45550223/20), dated (04/07/1447 AH), which included that the Federation has recently detected that Tarqeem Products and Administrative Services Company has been sending retroactive financial claims to companies and establishments regarding the financial consideration for the barcode service for the following years: (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023). The Federation warns that this period falls within the right of the Saudi Center for Numbering (GS1) to the concession and financial entitlement during the Federation’s management of the Center. Therefore, any financial claims related to these years are considered irregular, and the Federation reserves its position regarding payment to any party other than the rightful statutory beneficiary, until the arbitration case currently under consideration between the Federation and Tarqeem Products and Administrative Services Company is concluded.
Therefore, we kindly request that you do not respond to these financial claims for the above-mentioned years until the aforementioned case is concluded.
