Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received an email from the Federation of Saudi Chambers dated (27/4/2026), referring to the Federation’s receipt of the letter of the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority No. (1/47309/211), dated (22/9/1447 AH), regarding Article Three of the bylaws of the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (the “Authority”), issued by Council of Ministers Resolution No. (551), dated (15/9/1442 AH), which states that the Authority aims to develop local content in all its components across the national economy, and to advance and monitor government procurement to achieve developmental and financial goals in accordance with the national visions, strategies, and plans, and in accordance with the relevant laws, regulations, and instructions. The Authority is working on developing the training programs needed to enable the private sector to raise its capabilities and contribute to the development of local content, by identifying training needs in order to determine the knowledge and skills gaps among human resources and prepare a training plan that enhances compliance with local content requirements and raises implementation efficiency. The Authority wishes to share the form it has prepared with private sector companies for completion through the following link: (http://go.ac.sa/6kv). Their nominees will be provided with the training plan after the identification process is completed and published through the Authority’s e-training platform. Please note that the deadline for receiving participants has been extended to (7/5/2026).
