What the Transport Sector Is Witnessing in Light of the Current Situation

Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received an email from the Federation of Saudi Chambers dated (11/3/2026), referring to what the transport sector is witnessing in light of the current situation. Accordingly, the Federation hopes that those concerned in the transport sector will take action on the following:
1- Raising readiness and developing a work plan for transport operations through the Kingdom’s ports of entry
2- Ensuring that a sufficient number of trucks is available to cover the expected increase during the crisis period
3- Increasing the number of trucks approved for transit transport services to meet the expected increase in the volume of work
