Dear Esteemed Chamber Subscribers,

May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.

Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45540899/20), dated (17/7/1447 AH), which refers to what the Federation’s National Franchise Committee has submitted regarding clarifying its role in supporting and developing the franchise sector, within the framework of the role played by the Federation in enabling the private sector. The Committee aims to gather the views of the companies operating in the sector and represent their interests, and to convey the relevant challenges and opportunities to government entities and enabling entities, contributing to enhancing coordination and integration. In its work, the Committee focuses on supporting Saudi franchisor brands in their efforts to expand inside and outside the Kingdom, considering franchising one of the tools for exporting non-oil services through the private sector, in line with the targets of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The Committee coordinates with the relevant entities to convey the needs and challenges of franchise companies and represent them at specialized events and exhibitions locally and internationally, in addition to identifying and discussing common challenges and raising them with the relevant entities, in a manner that enhances the presence of Saudi brands and serves the interests of the private sector.

Your specialists may contact the Chairman of the National Franchise Committee, Dr. Khalid Al-Ghamdi, in this regard on mobile (0552227525), email ( gm@lcit.com.sa).

Please accept our sincere regards and appreciation.
