Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45542511/20), dated (10/7/1447 AH), which refers to what was received from the Saudi Health Council No. (20-42174), dated (5/7/1447 AH), which includes the adoption of the Organ Donation and Transplantation Procedures Guide in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, based on Article (Fourteen) of the Human Organ Donation Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/70), dated 19 Sha’ban 1442 AH, and its Implementing Regulations. Accordingly, we wish to stress the following:
1- This guide is the main approved reference in everything related to organ donation and transplantation.
2- The necessity of full compliance with the contents of the guide and the application of the procedures and policies it contains.
The Federation urges health facilities to adhere to the contents of the guide and to act in accordance with it, to ensure the unification of procedures and to raise the efficiency and quality of the services provided in this area.
