The Second Vice Chairman of Asharqia Chamber’s Board of Directors, Mohammed bin Ali Al-Majdouie, met on Sunday, September 6, 2026, with the CEO of the National Waste Management Center “MWAN,” Dr. Abdullah bin Faisal Al-Subaie, where they discussed aspects of joint cooperation and reviewed a number of topics of mutual interest in the fields of waste management and the circular economy.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Chamber’s Environment and Circular Economy Committee, Fahid bin Qaryan Al-Qahtani, the Chamber’s Secretary-General, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel, the Advisor to the Center’s CEO, Nasser bin Ahmed Mishai, and the Executive Director of Sector Development, Saleh bin Nasser.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Chamber also organized a session between the CEO of the National Waste Management Center “MWAN,” Dr. Abdullah bin Faisal Al-Subaie, and the Environment and Circular Economy Committee, in the presence of the Committee’s Chairman, Fahid bin Qaryan Al-Qahtani. During the session, Dr. Al-Subaie reviewed the key investment opportunities and initiatives supporting sustainability and the circular economy, in a way that enhances waste management efficiency and raises the environmental and economic impact in the Eastern Province.
