In another experience that combines art and sustainability, the owner of the “Karab Art” store took part with innovative artworks in which she repurposed materials from the local environment, particularly “palm karab,” turning them from discarded waste into artistic and sculptural pieces with a contemporary character. She explained that her idea is based on merging environmental heritage with modern art, by making use of local natural materials and presenting them with a contemporary artistic vision, which promotes the concept of sustainability and recycling and re-presents elements of the local environment in a creative form that attracts visitors’ interest.
