Asharqia Chamber Chairman, Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Farraj, met on Monday, August 31, 2026, with the Director General of the Eastern Province branch of the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification, Yousef Al-Bader, where they discussed aspects of joint cooperation and ways to strengthen the partnership in service of the environmental and investment sector in the region.
The meeting was attended by Asharqia Chamber Secretary-General Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel and Environment and Circular Economy Committee member Hisham Al-Jabr.
The Chamber, represented by its Environment and Circular Economy Committee, also organized a meeting titled “Environmental Investment in Vegetation Cover Lands,” in the presence of the Director General of the Eastern Province branch of the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification, Yousef Al-Bader. The meeting reviewed investment opportunities in vegetation cover lands, with the participation of the Head of the Investment Section, Abdullah Al-Rawajeh, and the Director of the Investment Department, Fahad Al-Otaibi, and was moderated by Environment and Circular Economy Committee member Hisham Al-Jabr.
