Asharqia Chamber, represented by its Women’s Empowerment Center, concluded the human resources empowerment program titled “Achieve Your Ambition and Shape the Future,” which aimed to provide support and guidance to women job seekers through understanding their personal identity, passing interviews, and the ability to present their personal skills and experience.
The program, which began on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, and continued until Wednesday at the Chamber’s main headquarters, was presented by self-development trainer and human resources consultant Suhair Al-Lafi and holistic wellness and quality of life trainer Khulood Al-Husaini. They affirmed that building a clear professional identity is a fundamental step for every individual seeking to enter the labor market with confidence, and that clarity of personal goals and skills is the compass that moves the job seeker from the stage of desire to achievement by obtaining the right opportunity.
The speakers outlined the program’s themes, explaining that professional identity comprises a set of skills, experience, and behaviors that reflect an individual’s personality and orientation and help them stand out before employers, enhancing their chances of competing in the labor market. Preparing for the future also requires individuals to develop their capabilities continuously and keep pace with changes in job requirements, through continuous learning and the acquisition of technical and personal skills, in addition to building a professional network that helps open new horizons.
The program’s presenters noted that the journey to obtaining a job begins with a genuine desire to succeed, followed by practical steps that include good planning, defining the career path, and working on developing skills, leading to the achievement of the desired goal. They also stressed the importance of turning ambitions into tangible actions through initiative and commitment.
The speakers affirmed that having a clear professional identity and preparing early for the requirements of the future are the key to enabling individuals to achieve their ambitions and set out with confidence toward job opportunities.
