Nouf Al-Sultan presented the attendees with a roadmap for handling daily operations efficiently, affirming at the same time that lean management is the secret behind startups’ resilience in the face of challenges. Al-Sultan addressed several core pillars, including self-management and productivity, which reflect the importance of time management for the entrepreneur as the leader of the system, in addition to team structuring, which covers the criteria for building a team and distributing roles in a way that avoids overlapping authorities and makes the most of the staff.
Al-Sultan pointed to the importance of the entrepreneur’s knowledge of leadership and organizational culture, which enables the entrepreneur to create an attractive work environment that enhances employee loyalty and productivity, in addition to the importance of having a performance indicator by relying on the language of numbers and clear indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and correct the project’s course as it goes.
The meeting also saw lively interaction from the incubated entrepreneurs, who gave brief presentations on their innovative projects in various sectors. For her part, Al-Sultan listened to the challenges they face and offered a package of tailored advice and guidance for developing their business models, stressing the need to focus on operational quality as a fundamental element of growth and expansion.
This meeting comes within a series of events organized by the Asharqia Chamber Entrepreneurship Incubator, with the aim of connecting the rising generation of entrepreneurs with successful national models and providing a fertile environment for exchanging experience and overcoming the operational obstacles that projects may face in their early stages. The Incubator seeks to enable projects to compete locally and globally by providing a high-quality entrepreneurial environment, raising the efficiency of incubated and interested entrepreneurs, building their capabilities, developing small and medium entrepreneurial projects, and enhancing their chances of success, so that business owners can develop and sustain their projects and achieve their goals.
