Asharqia Chamber, represented by its Small and Medium Enterprises Center, organized on Monday, January 5, 2026, a meeting on “How to Protect Your Project from Failure,” presented by project management consultant Eng. Abdulaziz bin Tariq Al-Assoum, at the Chamber’s branch in Qatif Governorate, in the presence of a notable number of interested parties and entrepreneurs.
Eng. Al-Assoum pointed to the importance of focusing on planning and strategy for the project; financial and operational management through diversifying sources of financing; using key performance indicators (KPIs) in the project to measure impact, productivity, and progress in investment; the team and human resources; risk management by regularly setting alternative plans and solutions suited to the scale of expected risks; and effective excellence and innovation.
The Small and Medium Enterprises Center at Asharqia Chamber works to foster the spirit of initiative toward self-employment among Saudi youth, raise young people’s awareness of the importance of a feasibility study for any project, raise the professional efficiency of self-employment initiators and small and medium enterprise owners through specialized training activities and programs, refine young people’s talents and initiatives by strengthening and guiding them, turn small and medium enterprises into large ones through systematic programs and activities, push small and medium enterprises toward the global stage by connecting them with their international counterparts, and encourage investment in the franchise concept through training programs, forums, and exhibitions specializing in this field.
