His Excellency the Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Eng. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Salem, met with the business sector in the Eastern Province, in a meeting held at the headquarters of the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, in the presence of Chairman of Asharqia Chamber’s Board of Directors Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Farraj, the CEO of the Royal Commission in Jubail and Ras Al-Khair Mining Industrial City, Eng. Mahmoud bin Saleh Al-Theeb, and a number of investors and entrepreneurs.
This meeting comes within the framework of strengthening integration and the transition toward a more effective partnership with the private sector, and discussing the Royal Commission’s key initiatives in stimulating investment, empowering investors, and turning challenges into development opportunities that contribute to supporting economic growth and raising the competitiveness of the industrial cities.
His Excellency the Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu affirmed “that the Royal Commission is working on implementing high-quality projects that enhance the readiness and competitiveness of its industrial cities, including the development of the transport and logistics system, housing, and community facilities, alongside attracting investment and empowering national talent. His Excellency added that these efforts come within the Royal Commission’s vision of providing an attractive investment environment and a high quality of life, contributing to achieving the targets of Saudi Vision 2030 and the national strategies.”
For his part, Chairman of Asharqia Chamber’s Board of Directors Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Farraj said “that the strategic partnership between the Chamber and the Royal Commission contributes to supporting the business sector and enhancing economic development in the region, pointing to the leading role played by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu in driving the economic development journey by turning its industrial cities into advanced global models and promising investment attraction centers.
Al-Farraj noted that today’s meeting is a platform for constructive dialogue between the Royal Commission and the business sector in the Eastern Province on issues relevant to the private sector, hoping that the outcomes of this meeting will contribute to strengthening the approach of partnership and integration and driving the sustainable development journey that our country is pursuing with confident steps.”
