The CEO of the Darin and Tarout Island Development Authority, Eng. Ahmed bin Salman Al-Bader, met on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the Authority’s headquarters, with the members of the Business Council of Asharqia Chamber’s Qatif branch, headed by Eng. Hussain bin Ahmed Al-Muqarran.
The meeting reviewed the key investment opportunities, along with an introduction to the Authority’s vision and strategy for developing Darin and Tarout Island, its development targets, and its most important current and future projects and initiatives with economic and investment impact.
The two sides also discussed opportunities for cooperation and partnership with the island’s business sector, in support of development and the enhancement of the investment environment. A clear action plan was drawn up to stimulate investment on the island in the targeted sectors, present investment opportunities related to the development direction, meet investors on a regular basis, and enable investment opportunities that face challenges.
