Chairman of Asharqia Chamber’s Board of Directors, Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Farraj, met on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, with Saudi Aramco’s Senior Vice President of Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Sulaiman bin Mohammed Al-Rubaian, where they discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two entities, in the presence of Chamber Board members Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh, Ali bin Abdullah Al-Saihati, and Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al-Jabr, and Secretary-General Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel.
The Chamber organized the “Tasheel” meeting and exhibition with Saudi Aramco under the theme “Toward Sustainable National Supply Chains,” where the meeting reviewed investment business opportunities and Saudi Aramco’s supplier enablement programs.
The meeting included a panel discussion on “Supply Chains in the Energy Sector: Toward an Integrated and Sustainable National System,” moderated by Chamber Board member, Chairman of the National Industry Committee, and Chairman of the Chamber’s Industry and Energy Committee, Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh, with the participation of representatives from Saudi Aramco.
The meeting also featured two workshops, on the requirements of iktva and how to submit the local content certificate, and on the requirements and mechanism for obtaining the third-party cybersecurity compliance certificate, as well as supplier registration and qualification procedures.
This was in addition to the interactive exhibition, attended by a notable number of investors, male and female entrepreneurs, and interested parties.

In his speech, Asharqia Chamber Chairman Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Farraj said that by launching this 15th edition of the “Tasheel Program,” the Chamber aims to continue its effective contribution to achieving the aspirations of the Vision, by stimulating local investment and maximizing its developmental impact, in translation of the wise leadership’s direction of maximizing local content.
