The President of Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Prof. Fahad bin Ahmed Al-Harbi, met on Monday, July 6, 2026, with Chairman of Asharqia Chamber’s Board of Directors, Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Farraj, at the University’s headquarters, where they discussed opportunities for cooperation between the University and the Chamber in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The meeting was attended by Asharqia Chamber Secretary-General, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel, the Chairman of the Chamber’s Young Businessmen Council, Rami bin Saleh Al-Sayed, and a number of University and Chamber leaders. The meeting reviewed the importance of strengthening the partnership between the academic sector and the business sector, in support of innovation and development, the knowledge economy, and the developmental impact in the Eastern Province, in harmony with the strategy of both entities in building high-quality, influential partnerships and enhancing integration with the business sector, in fulfillment of the targets of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
