Asharqia Chamber, represented by its Social Responsibility Center, and the Princess Seetah bint Abdulaziz Award for Excellence in Social Work Foundation signed a joint cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening joint work between the two entities, exchanging experience, and supporting institutional social work, stemming from Saudi Vision 2030, toward empowering the non-profit sector and achieving a greater impact for it.
At the signing of the agreement on Wednesday, June 27, 2026, the Chamber was represented by its Secretary-General, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel, while the Princess Seetah Award Foundation was represented by its Secretary-General, Dr. Fahad bin Hamad Al-Maghlouth.
Asharqia Chamber Secretary-General, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel, affirmed that the agreement comes within the Chamber’s keenness to support and develop the developmental work of the business sector and to act as a platform for enhancing opportunities for communication, noting that the partnership with the Princess Seetah Award Foundation represents an important step toward strengthening the initiatives and programs that contribute to developing this sector and raising its level of sustainability.
Al-Wabel explained that at Asharqia Chamber we believe that integration among the various institutions represents a fundamental pillar for strengthening social work and the sustainability of its initiatives, in line with the Chamber’s vision and mission of empowering society and creating a tangible and sustainable developmental impact.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Princess Seetah bint Abdulaziz Award for Excellence in Social Work Foundation, Dr. Fahad bin Hamad Al-Maghlouth, affirmed that the agreement represents an important addition to the Foundation’s efforts to support the institutional social work sector, commending Asharqia Chamber’s role in supporting development initiatives that serve the business sector, enhance its social effectiveness, and contribute to strengthening its sustainability.
