Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Asharqia Chamber Training Center, in cooperation with the Charitable Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province “Benaa,” concluded on the evening of Wednesday, July 1, 2026, the “Professional Empowerment Launch 2026” program, part of the “Kingdom Orphans Taxi” project, in the presence of Chairman of Asharqia Chamber’s Board of Directors Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Farraj and Association Board member Badr bin Mohammed Al-Abdulkarim.
The program aims to qualify and empower the beneficiaries of the “Kingdom Orphans Taxi” project by developing their professional, personal, and financial skills, enhancing their readiness for the labor market, supporting their economic independence, and contributing to improving their quality of life, in harmony with the targets of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in developing human capital and maximizing the developmental impact of the non-profit sector.
Asharqia Chamber Chairman, Fahad Al-Farraj, affirmed that the program equipped the beneficiaries with the professional and personal skills that enhance their readiness for the labor market, from professional driving, humane conduct, and road safety to developing financial awareness and a culture of responsibility and commitment, enabling them to provide professional services and build a stable professional future.
He added that this program is in line with the targets of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which places the development of human capital and the empowerment of the nation’s sons and daughters at the forefront of its priorities. It also embodies the pivotal role played by the non-profit sector, in partnership with the private sector, in supporting development and enhancing quality of life.
For his part, the CEO of the “Benaa” Association, Dr. Abdullah bin Rashed Al-Khalidi, explained that the program represents one of the high-quality initiatives aimed at enabling beneficiaries to acquire the skills needed to succeed in the labor market. He noted that the program included a package of specialized training modules, most notably the etiquette of professional communication with passengers of all categories, managing income and expenses and preparing a personal budget, using digital maps and smart navigation systems, in addition to the Kingdom’s traffic rules and compliance with regulations, vehicle care, and professional driving and road safety skills.
The Asharqia Chamber Training Center delivered the program through an elite of trainers. It was carried out in person across four groups over 16 days, for a total of 80 training hours, benefiting 100 male and female trainees, contributing to preparing qualified national cadres capable of providing a professional and safe service.
