Under the patronage and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, Asharqia Chamber organizes the (Handicrafts and Handwork Exhibition 2024). The handicrafts sector is considered socially and economically important, as one of the key pillars of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to advance, develop, and transform it into a more organized sector that adds value to the national economy. In line with this ambitious vision, Asharqia Chamber has directed its efforts toward further awareness programs, workshops, and qualitative initiatives to serve this developmental sector. The Handicrafts and Handwork Exhibition, in its seventh edition, comes as an initiative dedicated to creative craftsmen, artists, and handwork practitioners, and as part of the Chamber’s plan to continue its efforts to make the owners of these crafts active contributors to the economy of the Kingdom in general and the Eastern Province in particular.
In its new edition, the exhibition generally aims to organize the work of these crafts, whether for producers, visual artists, or craftsmen and handwork practitioners, by developing their capabilities and equipping them with the professional, administrative, and creative skills needed to raise the quality of their products. It also provides them with the opportunity to display and sell their products within the exhibition’s various pavilions and through organized marketing channels that ensure sustainable income for participants and encourage them toward entrepreneurship.
The exhibition will be held at Dhahran Expo Company (Expo)
during the evening period, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., corresponding to September 25–29, 2024.
