Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings and wishes to inform you that it has received a letter from the Federation of Saudi Chambers, No. (45558448/20), dated (24/05/1448 AH), referring to the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission’s circular No. (0711/1/001), dated (22/5/1448 AH), corresponding to (November 2, 2026), concerning the Commission’s adoption and publication of the technical regulation entitled “National List of Controlled Items in Nuclear Fields” (NRRC-R-18-SR01 Rev.01). The regulation specifies the items controlled for export, import, and transit, along with their technical specifications and customs codes. The Commission has also launched a service to search and inquire about the list on its website in Arabic and English.
The circular also noted that royal approval had been granted for Council of Ministers Resolution No. (245), dated (8/4/1447 AH), approving the “Mechanism for Verifying the Purpose of Use and the End User of Controlled Items in Nuclear Fields in Other Countries.” This mechanism sets out the national requirements for verifying the purpose of use and obtaining an end-user declaration for any controlled items exported from the Kingdom, thereby ensuring that the Kingdom fulfills its international obligations in the nuclear field.
