Council of Asharqia Chamber Branch in
Jubail Mishari bin Murshid Al Aqili stressed he economic and trade relations
with Taiwan, urging Taiwan business
sector to think about investing in partnership with their counterparts in
Jubail.

Aqili in the visit of a Taiwanese trade delegation to the headquarters of the
Chamber branch in Jubail yesterday Thursday morning, March 16, 2017 headed by
Joseph Chin, said that the visit is taking place in a crucial as the Kingdom is
heading towards new prospects in the
level of the local economy after the announcement of Vision 2030, pointing that
the Jubail province, considered the center of the Industrial activities with many
chemicals and petrochemical factories globally and hosted by Jubail industrial
cities, the first and second, and in addition to a number of major new projects
with investments estimated at more than $ 7.6 billion, indicating that there is
a chance for increasing Taiwanese investment, especially in the fields of
technology.
For
his part, Chen said that the delegation will discuss enhancing the cooperation
with companies in the eastern region, especially Jubail as the capital of industries in Saudi Arabia
and the Gulf, pointing that the delegation has a lot to offer through direct
partnerships in the sectors of products and services that include steel,
automation, appliances,
safety and security, home appliances, furniture, household, food and beverages,
cosmetics, textiles and garments, I hope they will have bright prospects in
Jubail province.
Chen
pointed that the delegation hopes to hold fruitful partnerships between the two
countries and cooperation to provide Taiwanese products to the Saudi market.
