Recommendation to Establish Contracting Authority to Regulate Construction Industry
The adviser ofConstruction Industry Development Board of Malaysia Dr Mohamed Abdel Hamid stated, in his working paper in 2024 Forum: Contracting Industry, that the construction sector in Malaysia has seen a significant improvement in 2013 by 80% while it did not exceed 60% in 2010.
He presented a working paper titled "Malaysia's Experience in Supporting Construction Sector". the second working paper titled contracting industry - Effects and Variables Recommended "the establishment of the Contracting Authority as an independent organization to regulate the construction industry and contracts".
