Respected/ importers of live birds, hatching eggs and chicks
Asharqia Chamber presents its best greetings to you, and would like to inform you of the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (1008) dated 27/4/1440, which referred to the letter of the Ministry of Commerce and Investment No. (18730) dated (25/4/1440), which was attached to the cable of His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture No. (317660/79731/1) dated 22/4/1440 on a temporary ban on the importation of live birds, hatching eggs and chicks from the Republic of India.
This is based on the information contained in the Warning Bulletin issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) on 13/4/1440 that is including the emergence of highly virulent bird flu.
