    The Women's Economic Forum 2024 is launched to enhance the economic role of women in light of implementing Vision 2030
    The activities of the eighth edition of the Women's Economic Forum 2024 will be launched on Tuesday, November 19, under the patronage and honor of the Prince of the Eastern Region, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, and comes under the title (Empowering Effective Leadership).
    The forum aims to enhance the economic role of women, review the extent of the impact of their participation on economic growth, shed light on women's performance in light of implementing the vision's goals, and discuss the opportunities and capabilities available to empower effective leadership, in addition to identifying aspects of development in the Kingdom and the region and the role of women in its various fields.
    The forum, which will continue until Wednesday, November 20, 2024, will witness the holding of four sessions and a number of workshops that address the developments of Saudi women in light of the vision by reading their effective and influential role in achieving its goals, as well as the opportunities and capabilities available to women in the entrepreneurship system and ways to enhance their roles in it and what they can do to ensure the sustainability of their companies, and their pivotal role in economic development in all its various sectors, in addition to training and its importance in qualifying them for successful leadership, amid the participation of many specialists, female specialists, officials, academics, and those interested in economic affairs in general and the women's business sector in particular. 
    The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Rizaiza, said that women represent a primary source for reforming societies and an effective partner in the path of our development renaissance, and that they have provided the most wonderful examples of assuming responsibility, and have become strongly present and effectively influential in supporting the path of the national economy and raising its global competitiveness, expressing his pride in the roles they play in the comprehensive development renaissance that the country is witnessing. He pointed out that the Asharqia Chamber's keenness to organize the Women's Economic Forum comes with the aim of strengthening ties, stimulating constructive interaction, and enhancing the role of women in the national economy, which is currently witnessing a new launch aimed at exploiting all the state's components, most notably the human resource, stressing that the Chamber always provides support and advice through its various channels to raise the level of women, especially in the economic fields, by urging them to find mechanisms for development and modernization in the fields of production and business management. Al-Rizaiza explained that the forum, which is launched under the slogan of empowering effective leadership, is an extension of the previous versions organized by the Chamber and witnessed great interaction and concluded with a set of recommendations supporting women's progress in the economic sector, hoping that this forum will come out with recommendations in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which emphasized that women are one of the most important elements of the Kingdom's launch into the future, noting that the forum is a serious opportunity to benefit from the experiences presented during it in self-employment and entrepreneurship, in addition to being an opportunity to learn about the mechanisms and tools to support women's economic role.
