Women’s Economic Forum 2024 presents a new vision for more effective women’s performance in development

Under the patronage of the prince of the Eastern Province, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, the Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Women's Empowerment Center, is organizing the activities of the eighth edition of the Women's Economic Forum 2024, under the title "Empowering Effective Leadership", on (November 19 and 20, 2024).

The forum aims to shed light on women's performance in light of the implementation of the goals of Vision 2030, and to discuss the opportunities and capabilities available to empower effective leadership, in addition to identifying the aspects of development taking place in the Kingdom and the region, its forms and various fields.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Rizaiza, said that the Women's Economic Forum in its eighth edition presents a forward-looking vision for the future of women in light of the comprehensive renaissance that the country is witnessing within the framework of achieving the goals of the vision, and presents an expanded reading of the present of Saudi women in the national economy.

Al-Raziza stressed that the increasing involvement of women year after year in trade and economic activities, in addition to providing tangible evidence of their successes and progress, also makes them a fundamental bet in the national economy, noting that the strategic plan from which the Asharqia Chamber speaks includes providing new and innovative services for Saudi women that will meet their needs in the current economic phase, indicating that the Chamber has extended efforts in supporting and developing the business community and promoting the role of women in it. He pointed out that the forum is a serious opportunity to benefit from the experiences of businesswomen in the field of choosing ways of self-employment and entrepreneurship, noting that the Chamber always provides support and advice through its various channels to raise the level of women in terms of work and business management, by urging them to find mechanisms for development and modernization in the field of production and creativity.​
