The 2024 Women's Economic Forum discusses in its eighth edition the effective leadership of women in light of the vision
The 2024 Women's Economic Forum, which will be launched in its eighth edition under the title (Empowering Effective Leadership), on Tuesday and Wednesday (November 19-20), under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Prince of the Eastern Province, will discuss the effective leadership of Saudi women in light of Vision 2030, which has allocated one of its goals to ensure increased participation of women in the labor market, which has led to the acceleration of Saudi women's steps towards empowerment.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Rizaiza, said that since the launch of the vision and thanks to the decisions, legislation and regulations that followed, Saudi women's position in the economic and business community has been strengthened, and they have even become an effective partner in national development in all economic, social, scientific and cultural fields and at all levels.
Al-Rizaiza explained that this new edition of the Women's Economic Forum has a special character, as it comes in light of the implementation of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and its achievements at all levels, saying: (The vision has achieved what it aimed for Saudi women in terms of investing their talents and energies and enabling them to obtain appropriate opportunities to build their future, which has been reflected in society and the economy together). He said that the forum of the year is launched according to a vision that aims to raise the performance of Saudi women to a high level of effective leadership, and presents many opportunities and possibilities to increase their participation in various economic sectors, and the forum of the year also looks forward to their future in more effective participation in the national economy. Al-Rizaiza pointed to the role of the Chamber and its extended efforts in supporting and developing the business community and promoting the role of women in it, based on its keenness on the women's business sector not only in the region, but in all parts of the Kingdom, as it is an essential resource in achieving the desired economic development and growth, stressing that the forum is an opportunity to learn about pioneering experiences in effective leadership, noting that the Chamber always provides support and advice through its various channels to raise the level of Saudi women in terms of work and business management.
