    Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Women Empowerment Center, organized on Monday, November 22, 2021, a meeting to introduce the National Entrepreneurship Institute.

    Director of the Ladies Branch in Dammam, Noura Al-Mulhim, said that the center stems from its vision, which emphasizes that it is the distinguished national model for entrepreneurship and the development of emerging and small enterprises, noting that the center is non-profit and specializes in helping those wishing to engage in self-employment and owners of small and emerging projects of both sexes through training and qualification. It provides advice and guidance, incubates projects, helps obtain financing, and facilitates government procedures by a group of national specialists in the field of entrepreneurship, by adopting the latest methods and techniques.

    Al-Mulhim also indicated that the center aims to spread the culture of self-employment among members of society, build a positive behavior towards its practice, develop a national program for entrepreneurship, develop emerging and small projects, qualify human cadres specialized in this field, and enable entrepreneurs and specialists to keep pace with developments in the field of entrepreneurship. Self-employment and creating job opportunities for young men and women through their projects.

    On the most important strategic objectives of the center in keeping with the vision of the Kingdom 2030, Al-Mulhim said that the center is working to spread the culture of self-employment, increase the number of entrepreneurs, reduce the percentage of stalled projects and increase the percentage of quality projects to contribute to raising the contribution of small and medium enterprises to the GDP from 20% to 35 % by 2030, and diversify the non-petroleum national product from the GDP.

    The center targets through program "young" people of both sexes who wish to establish their projects and have experience and are ready to devote themselves to their project, and the program provides its services to those aged between 21 and 55 years, as it provides financial support through the strategic partner and the main financier, the Social Development Bank.​​
