Asharqia Chamber presents its best greetings to you, and would like to inform you of the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (1289) dated 28/5/1440, which is attached to the letter of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority No. (41072 / p) dated (21/5/1440) that referred to the regulatory and supervisory role on food products and verification of their conformity with technical regulations and requirements of the Authority.
It was noticed that some importers and establishments exporting meat and meat products were not subject to the conditions and requirements of importing food.
The Authority calls upon all food importers to comply with import requirements.
