• The Chairman of Asharqia Chamber is looking to strengthen trade relations between the Kingdom and the Republic of Germany

    ​The Chairman of Asharqia Chamber, Abdulhakeem bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, discussed aspects of cooperation and strengthening trade relations between the Kingdom and the Republic of Germany during a meeting on Tuesday morning, July 24, 2018, with Frederick George Kehr, the head of exhibitions of the industry and metals sector in the Dusseldorf Exhibition Authority in the Republic of Germany.

     

    The meeting was attended by a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Industry and Energy Committee, Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh, the Secretary General of the Chamber, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel, Oliver Amz, commissioner of German industry and trade to Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain and Yemen, and Jan Mueller, the representative of the Commission in the Eastern Region.

    Al-Khalidi reviewed a number of projects and events that are planned by the Chamber to be held in the coming period.

    He also spoke about the most prominent features of the Kingdom's 2030 Vision and the National Transition Program, which will open the doors for many business owners in the world to seize the promising investment opportunities that in line with the vision.

     

    For his part, Kehr emphasized the economic role that was played by the Dusseldorf Exhibition Authority in promoting the industry of metals, pipes and other basic equipment for the industry through the establishment of various exhibitions in Germany and a number of other countries as well.
