On Wednesday, December 5th 2018, Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Businesswomen's Center, will organize the "Annual reception of businesswomen" in the Grand Ballroom of Sheraton Hotel, Dammam, under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Abeer Faisal bin Turki Al Saud, the wife of the Amir of the Eastern Province.
The Chairman of the Board of Asharqia Chamber, Abdulhakeem bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, said that the patronage of Her Highness for this event and other events that are organized by the Chamber reflects the keenness of her Highness to support and enhance the role of Saudi women in the business sector.
It also reflects the keenness of her Highness to communicate and share a social segment with economic dimensions that are capable of participation and giving, which is the segment of businesswomen, who are entering an unprecedented phase of recovery due to recent economic and social reforms that will take place in the future under the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
Al-Khalidi said that the ceremony will witness the honoring of the members of the 17th session of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber including Samira Al-Sawegh, Manahel Al-Hamdan, as well as Director of the Businesswomen Center, Hind Al Zahid, within the framework of the principle of appreciation and thanks adopted by the Chamber, as one of the fixed principles that follow in all its activities.
Al-Khalidi stressed the importance of this event, which is held annually at this time as a forum to strengthen the links between businesswomen and private sector institutions with various segments of society, in addition to the support and deepening of the state of direct communication between government officials and civil society officials in the Eastern Region, as well as its support for the Chamber's efforts to deepen communication with both businessmen and businesswomen.
He pointed out that this year's ceremony will witness the presence of elite businesswomen and prominent academics and government officials in various sectors, as well as representatives of foreign embassies in the Kingdom.
Al-Khalidi paid tribute to Her Highness Princess Abeer Bint Faisal Bin Turki Al-Saud for her patronage for this ceremony and for all the women's activities carried out by Asharqia Chamber.
He expressed the hope that the ceremony will be a prosperous meeting for businesswomen to achieve further development and growth of the business sector in the Kingdom.
