Asharqia Chamber holds an "entrepreneurs' meeting" for students of Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University
As part of its efforts to maximize the impact of entrepreneurship and small and emerging projects, the Asharqia Chamber of Commerce, represented by the Women's Empowerment Center and the Center for Small and Medium Enterprises, organized the "Entrepreneurs" meeting for medical students at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the college's theater. The event aimed to introduce the role and services of the Asharqia Chamber directed towards entrepreneurs, in addition to preparing students to enter the job market through self-employment or through support programs and incubators for micro, small, and medium entrepreneurial projects.
The meeting also included the participation of Faisal Al-Jassim, Senior Specialist from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, to introduce the main regulations and licenses of the Commission, and the requirements related to professional classification and registration. Dr. Omar Al-Dossari, founder and general manager of Seha Al Riaaya and Seha Al Mutahida medical complexes, shared his professional experience and the role of successful entrepreneurial projects after graduation, highlighting their impact on individuals.
The attendees were also informed about the role of the Women's Empowerment Center, which aims to empower businesswomen as partners in economic development in the Eastern Province. The center supports, develops, and activates the economic role of businesswomen in the region, overcoming the challenges and difficulties they face in their role as active partners in economic development through empowerment, business development, guidance, and awareness.
Additionally, the Small and Medium Enterprises Center's role was highlighted, emphasizing its leadership in supporting the sectors of entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises, enhancing their roles in the Kingdom, providing distinguished and high-quality services, and improving the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises.
The role of the Asharqia Chamber of Commerce's Business Incubator was also discussed. The incubator provides a high-quality entrepreneurial environment to enable projects to compete locally and globally by supporting and guiding entrepreneurs, adopting creative ideas, educating, and raising awareness, and helping them achieve success and creativity in their emerging projects.
