Asharqia Chamber's Gold Committee has sump up a range of mechanisms and procedures of sourcing the gold industry as a tourism product and attraction in the Eastern Region during the recent meeting of the committee with the Executive Director of the General Commission for Tourism and Antiquities in the region Eng. Abdullatif Al-Bonayan.

Chairman of the Committee Mohammed Al-Hamad, who chaired the meeting  said that members have  discussed Al-Bonayan's proposal on acquiring  a location of the gold sector in  the half moon beach and the required support from Al-Dammam Municipality in support of this industry as a tourist product , referring to the formation of a working group composed of the General Commission for Tourism and Antiquities and the Committee of gold and jewelry together with Asharqia Chamber to discuss ways of sourcing the gold industry  as a tourism product.

 
Al-Hamad explained that members have reviewed the proposal of converting King Fahad Street located in Dammam Market as a tourist attraction for the gold industry in the region.
