Ministry of Labor has informed Asharqia Chamber for achieving Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz for Saudization for the year in 1426/1427, in recognition of its many achievements in the field of employment of Saudis of its departments and sections.
The award will be awarded at a ceremony hosted by the ministry on this occasion in honor of His Royal Highness Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Interior Minister, and winner on Sunday 2nd April 2008, corresponding to 14/04/1429 at King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh.
Asharqia Chamber Chairman Abdulrahman Al Rashid praised the chamber for having this award saying that it had been since its foundation to rely on the national cadres in its various activities, where most of the jobs occupied by Saudis in various departments, sections and units to the percentage of Saudization more than 80% and also made the issue of jobs localization in the sector one of the strategic objectives looking forward to.
Al Rashid also mentioned that chamber has supported the country plans for Saudization projects pointing out a number of meetings, symposiums and conferences on the topics (Training , Saudization, and human resource development) discussing this goal as the chamber has also entered a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding to support the Saudization mission, as well as coordination with government agencies concerned with this issue, such as the Ministry of Labor and Human Resources Development Fund.
He referred that chamber has the honor for achieving this award along with number of national institutions who have achieved high rates of Saudization aiming to encourage enterprises in the Eastern region in order to raise Saudization rates, being a national award by His Royal Highness Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the Interior, given to deserved institutions and companies in various disciplines, to support this competition and attracts national talents, saying: "This is in itself a source of pride for us to support this national project ".
Moreover;Al Rashid explained that the chamber is trying to find and attract qualified Saudi cadres in the private sector through the establishment of the Chamber Employment Center that offers free service for companies and qualified Saudis, as well as their participation in the paths of national training organization for joint training with both the Human Resources Development Fund and the Technical and vocational Training Corporation which is adopting the project of technical training for employment.
Stressing that the chamber is deeply connected with the Saudization project, as the chamber's manpower Committee is concerned with investigating and studying problems of Saudization issues and developing recommendations and proposals accordingly for the qualifying Saudis to work in the private sectors.
Above all, Al Rashid expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz for his interest in Saudi citizens, represented in his sponsorship and concern for the Saudization project and raising its level in the private sector ,he has also expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Labor, represented by His Excellency the Minister Dr. Ghazi Al Gosaibi for the great efforts being made for Saudization support.
